Moved House!

We are here! In the country with our tiny house. I am really enjoying the space outside and am coming to terms with the lack of space inside…

We have dial-up internet: it would be hilarious if it wasn’t so frustrating. Yes, broadband is on the horizon but for now it’s short bursts on the internet and lots of deep breathing!

Now…more grubbing thistles and digging-in compost heaps. The big boys are outside in a tent, finger-knitting, and the little boy is cracking hazelnuts with his little hammer.

    That honestly sounds fabulous!

Like a bit of a holiday… where you don’t quiet have everything you want, but you have everything that you need. Your family, a house and short bursts of internet!

    • Thanks Lauren. Not sure if it’s a holiday (too many thistles and nettles!!) but it certainly is lovely to be amongst so much green after living in cities for the past *cough cough* number of years! 🙂

Sounds like you’re filling the house and land with good memories already. Welcome home Karyn.

    • You know Laura, you’re so right. I really didn’t expect to have that feeling of coming home, but I have and I am really enjoying it.
If I can manage to get the balance of motherhood, farming and earning a living somewhat right over the next few years, this could be heaven on earth.
