Look What Came in the Post Yesterday!

This is the proof for me to check. It means we’re not going to hit the mid-June deadline I wanted to hit, but it does mean we are another step closer…. !

YEAH!!!! Congratulations! What an accomplishment! you must be so proud! 🙂 Nicole

    • Thanks Nicole! Yeah, very exciting and great to see seven years of work coming together – at last. 🙂

Wow, seven years?! How did you do it? Did you have to do a lot of research? That is amazing Karyn!!!!!! I started a book a few years ago and worked on it diligently for about a year then had to stop. Only got 100 pages but felt like I didn’t have the time to seriously continue. Also I began to doubt myself as it is fiction and I know how insanely hard it is to get published. You must feel very proud to have a hard copy published book that you worked on so hard, in your hands!!!

        • Some days I literally had 10 minutes on the computer, Nicole. It was really hard to keep going some days, especially since I know some of the stuff I write about is going be hugely challenging for many people (tantrum book not this one), and I’m acutally a big-girl’s-blouse when it comes to conflict. sigh. I have tried fiction, but I found I actually experienced my characters emotions while I was writing them – not a good combination with hormonal imbalances due to pregnancy and breastfeeding, maybe one day I’ll give it another go. You should try again though, perhaps a non-fiction travel book? You must have so many stories – people are interested, look at how popular your blogs are. 🙂

  5. Very exciting Karyn!!! I can’t wait to read your book. When you said book I thought you meant e-book. WOW a big book deal. I know somebody famous. 🙂

  6. And PS what happened to the picture of you with the cup of tea. That was such a cozy, let’s have tea together picture. 🙂 I should put my pic on my gravatar or whatever it’s called. Still figuring out all this technology….
